FilmOntario Signs Industry Code of Conduct

Update - April 16, 2018

FilmOntario Signs Industry Code of Conduct
The FilmOntario Board of Directors is pleased to announce that we have signed on to The Canadian Creative Industries Code of Conduct to Prevent and Respond to Harassment, Discrimination, Bullying and Violence. The Code represents a commitment by stakeholders to prevent and respond to harassment including sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying and violence and to ensure every workplace is one where safety, respect and professionalism are the norm. You can find the complete Code here.

FilmOntario is in the process of developing its own Workplace Harassment Policy. The Policy will be posted on our website when it is complete. In the meantime, we encourage all members, if they haven’t done so already, to join their colleagues in signing the industry Code of Conduct. We are stronger as an industry when we all work together and it is only by working together that we will be able to ensure that our workplaces are welcoming to everybody.
